 Yesterday’s
World is popular with children of all ages, giving them the opportunity to
learn all about life in the past and experience all the sights, sounds and even
the smells of a bygone era.
Under 4's go for free and we also offer family
tickets which are excellent value for money.
You will be going back in time. The time when your grandparents and great, great
grandparents were children. Imagine you were a child living then and think how
you would feel. There was no television or cars.

Free lightweight pushchairs for hire
We provide small light weight pushchairs (subject to availability), which
you can use to take around the museum if your pram or pushchair is too heavy or
bulky to manage up the stairs. Ask about these at the counter when you arrive -
our friendly and informative staff are always happy to help.
Please note the outdoor attractions at Yesterday's World are currently closed whilst
work is carried out to build the
new
exhibition centre. We apologise for any
convenience caused, which will be for the
benefit of all our visitors' future enjoyment.
In the meantime we will be offering further discounts on admission to the
museum, which are currently held at last year's prices.

Victorian Play Village, picnic area, toddlers' activity area,
mini golf, baby changing facilities, new toilet facilities, new licensed indoor
cafe, lunch room for schools/parties.
