Located in a beautiful 15th century medieval hall house and packed with authentic artefacts, sounds and smells, a trip to Yesterday's World takes you on magical journey through a series of vividly recreated displays, which allow you to touch, taste and experience different periods of the past.

Discovery sheets are available upon your arrival in French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, German and Russian to help you make the most of your visit.

Why not make the most of your time in Battle and visit Battle Abbey where the famous Battle of Hastings was fought in 1066? For groups of 13 or more.

How to book?

We regret that Yesterday's World will be closed for group visits from 1st -21st January 2007 whilst the shop undergoes refurbishment.

All visits must be pre-booked in advance by calling +44 (0)1424 893938 or book online . Alternatively, send us a fax on +44 (0)1424 893316 – don’t forget to include the international dialling code of the country you are calling from.

We will send confirmation of your booking to bring with you on the day.

Payment methods

Visits should be paid for on the day or in advance in British Pound Sterling. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Solo, Switch, Maestro and American Express cards or a cheque made payable to 'Yesterday's World Limited.'

Students must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. You are advised to check the availability of operational facilities prior to your visit. Back to top
