New Murder Mystery events at Great Yarmouth
Yesterdays World to host Murder Mystery by public demand!
Great Yarmouth’s Museum of British History known as Yesterday’s World, has announced plans to host Murder Mystery events with live actors throughout its main summer season.
Every Wednesday and Saturday evening throughout August, Yesterday’s World will host a brand new entertainment experience known as ‘Two Hearts’ - a unique Murder Mystery immersive theatrical experience, set across two floors of the museum, with interactive live actors who will help guests on the evening to discover hidden clues to solve the crime.
The evenings will begin in the Victorian Tea Room enjoying a Victorian style buffet and drink mingling with live actors who are in on the plot. Teams of 10 will be given an action plan and map suggesting places to visit within the attraction, where actors will interact divulging crucial information. The event will crescendo with a final scene acted out to reveal the answer.
Guests can choose to get into the spirit of things and come along in Victorian dress or simply turn up in smart casual attire with the emphasis on fun rather than a formal affair.
The ‘Two Hearts’ Murder Mystery events will take place every Wednesday and Saturday evening at Yesterday’s World, 34 Marine Parade, Great Yarmouth NR30 2EN, starting at 7.30pm with the evening closing at approximately 9.30pm. Each event will be limited to 95 number of tickets priced from just £17pp - to launch the event, Yesterday World have a limited number of tickets being offered at just £12pp.
Ben Rowe, General Manager at Yesterday’s World said, “The main reason why we decided to embark on the Murder Mystery events was down to feedback from both residents and tourists, that there isn’t that much alternative entertainment on offer in Great Yarmouth other than the pubs, bars and theatres that have been here for year’s”. He added, “We’re really excited about the new events as there’s nothing like it in the area and we’ve tried to create a unique experience that’s dynamic, immersive with an element of suprise, so guests will be in for a treat”.
