The Windmill is open from 1 April to 30 September.

This historic corn mill with its nine floors was built over 200 years ago, and was in use until 1940. You can see the complete milling machinery (considered to be the finest in the area), four sets of millstones and sack hoist.

The museum collection includes many rare and unusual historical items, as well as artefacts from everyday life dating back over the last few hundred years, carefully gathered over the last 40 years for the preservation and enjoyment of future generations.
