“This is a great place to visit in Great Yarmouth if you want to find out about the history of the place.” - M Lond Colchester

“A group of us made the trip back in time. A hidden gem. The museum tells us of times gone by, a bygone age of village life where everyone knew each other.Victorian streets full of shops and displays of life back then. The lifesized historical characters in the Royal exhibition gave us much to talk and laugh about. The ride on the Carosell was great we loved it.Then tea in the Victorian tearoom.A wonderful cream tea served on pretty china.Waitresses in traditional Nippys costume just rounded off the afternoon. All the staff worked hard to give us a memorable experience.” - Sandra B Norwich

“A lovely way to spend a couple of hours, remembering all the things. you thought you had forgotten! Don’t forget to linger in the tearoom for lovely coffee and cake.” - Duncan M Cromer

“it was fab,it has things about british history from victorian times to the 70s,great models of kings and queens, lots of shops of the past with models in them to look like the old times,a good gift shop that sell lots of items from the past, theres a carosell which you can ride on,and a cafe selling cream teas.” - hornet100 Northampton

“It’s a lot like Flambards in Cornwall, little areas of shops from bygone times. A great little shop of gifts and goodies and friendly staff. The best part though, was the home made cakes in the tea shop! Fab! I had the Victoria Sandwich and it was lovely, with proper jam and a nice thick slice! Would definitely go there for tea and cake again!” - Tracey T Bacup
