HOW TO GET TO YESTERDAY’S WORLD BATTLE
By Car
At Junction 5 on the M25 follow the signs for Hastings and the A21. Continue until you see the signs for Battle which are signposted off the A21.

By Bus
There are regular bus services to Battle, which run from most towns in the South East. Call the national Travel Line (0870 608 2608). We are only 50 yards from the High Street bus stops.
By train
Battle is located on the London Charing Cross line to Hastings. For the latest information on train times, contact Rail Enquiries on 0845 748 49 50 or visit www.nationalrail.co.uk/planmyjourney.
We are approximately a ten minute walk from Battle station. From the station, proceed to the end of the road and turn right up towards the High Street. Yesterday’s World is opposite Battle Abbey Gatehouse.
Parking
The nearest long stay car park is situated in Park Lane, opposite Yesterday’s World, to the side of the Battle Abbey Gatehouse entrance. There is also a pay & display car park in Mount Street.
Disabled access
Yesterday’s World, is presented in two parts; a 600 year old medieval hall-house set over 3 floors, and a new 2 storey state-of-the-art exhibition centre that is purpose built to allow access for all. The tea room is also fully wheelchair friendly with lift access to the garden.
Due to its listed status, access to the upper floors of the medieval house is via stairs.
There is a Disabled toilet on site.
